Hey there.....

For this next card I was asked to do a birthday card for someone who is turning 60.  The specifics were either a billboard with 'Happy 60th Birthday' on it or something with a truck.  Of course I added both.  Once I came up with the idea it came together fairly quickly.   Here's what I came up with....

 Card front -
I cut off about an inch from the bottom of the front of the card and added a black mat. For the billboard I cut a piece of white cardstock and inked the edges really well. I created the 'pole' from a scrap piece of paper that I colored both front and back with a gray marker.   I attached it to the bottom of the white card stock then attached th billboard to the front of the card with foam tape. I'm not sure if it really looks like a billboard but it's close, I think.....

 Inside -

The truck doesn't have a layer feature so I made my own.  I cut it out 3 times and pieced it together.  I added the road because it looked like it was floating.  I really like the way it turned out and so did the person who asked me to make it.
