Hey There...

I needed a wedding card and wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do so, I did what we all do (right?).... I pulled out my Gypsy and searched through my cartridges for wedding cuts and some sort of inspiration.  (At least that is what I do.)  I wanted something simple but elegant.

I decided on the silhouette cut of a bride and groom from the Potpourri Basket Cartridge and welded the shadow of the couple with a rectangle for the card base.  I made the envelope with plain ivory cardstock and lined it with a black metallic paper.  I don't remember where I bought the metallic paper, I've had it a long time.

In the end I think it all worked.  It is hard to see the shimmer from the ivory cardstock and the shine from the metallic lining in the picture but, I love the way it turned out.....
